SAN DIEGO, Ca. –One of the fastest Rubik’s Cube players in the world is a 10-year-old boy with autism from San Diego.
The Rubik’s Cube seems to motivate Max Park, who began playing with the toy after doctors recommended it as therapy.
Park became enthralled with the puzzle and asked his parents if he could go to Los Angeles to watch Rubik’s Cube competitions.
The next move fell into place, when Park wound up on the competition floor.
He solved the puzzle in less than three minutes, which put him into the ranking as one of the best 100 players in the world. Park was up against college players.
FOX 5 reports that Park is a busy boy. He is also working on mastering other hobbies and is even training to run a 5k race.
